OUR STORY
Back in 2013, Herne Hill locals Dickon White and Jason Perks co-founded Perks & White with a vision to introduce the area’s first specialty coffee shop. Inspired by the burgeoning coffee culture in Australia and New Zealand, they set out to bring high-quality, specialty coffee to their community in Herne Hill and Tulse Hill. From the beginning, Dickon and Jason were dedicated to not only popularising specialty coffee but also building a business rooted in sustainable practices.
OUR TEAM
We’re committed to the personal development of our team, tailoring opportunities to each individual’s goals. Our revamped in-house training helps employees progress from Trainee Barista to Manager, covering coffee making, customer service, management, and marketing.
We also commission team members for specialised work, like graphic design, building skills beyond their roles. This approach creates an engaged, empowered team that delivers the best experience for our customers.
